1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a browser stores on a visitor’s device. They let a site remember settings between visits — a consent choice, for example — and, in the case of analytics tools, are used to recognise a returning visitor.
2. What this site uses
At present the site uses no analytical or marketing cookies, and stores nothing on a visitor’s device for any purpose other than remembering that visitor’s own choice.
This is not a statement of intent but a description of fact: the site loads no third-party scripts, and the fonts, styles, images and world map all come from the same domain as the page itself. The one exception is the Google map on the Contact page, which loads only when the visitor explicitly asks for it — see section 5.
The only file that may be stored appears together with the consent banner and holds the visitor’s choice:

While the consent banner is switched off, not even this file is written: asking for consent to something that does not happen would be misleading.
3. Legal basis
Storing information on a visitor’s device is governed by Article 173 of the Polish Telecommunications Act of 16 July 2004. Files essential to the operation of the site — including the record of the consent choice itself — do not require consent.
Analytical and marketing files require prior, freely given consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Consent is collected before any such file is stored and before any script that could create one is loaded.
4. Withdrawing or changing consent
You can change or withdraw consent at any time in your browser settings: deleting the cookies stored for this site also clears the remembered choice, and the banner appears again on your next visit. The same place lets you block further storage.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Blocking cookies in the browser does not restrict access to the content of the site and does not disable the contact form.
5. Third-party content
The site carries no video players, social plugins or advertisements. The only content from a third party is the Google map on the Contact page, and it does not load by itself.
In its place the page shows our own preview, stating what clicking will do. Only
pressing “Show the Google map” connects the browser to servers operated by
Google LLC, which then receive the visitor’s IP address among other data and may
set cookies of their own. The legal basis is consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR),
given by that click. The choice is remembered in the browser’s local storage
(mimir_map_consent) and can be withdrawn with “Hide the map”, which removes
the map from the page.
Without that click, no request to Google leaves the browser. The office address is printed on the page as text, and the link beside the map opens Google Maps in a separate tab — that is, outside this site.
If we introduce analytics tools in the future, this document will be updated before they are switched on, and visitors will be asked for consent.
6. Changes
We update this policy when the set of cookies in use changes. The date of the last update is given at the top of the document.
